Line Friends Unveils MIGHTEEZ Pop-Up for ATEEZ's Anniversary Celebration This Weekend

Line Friends and ATEEZ have once again joined forces to unveil a new collection. This collaboration brings forth MIGHTEEZ, a character line created in part by the members of the K-pop group ATEEZ. The new line includes U.S.-exclusive items that will be available online as well as at the Press, Start! Enter the MIGHTEEZ pop-ups. These pop-up events will take place at two of the brand's stores: one located at the flagship Hollywood store and another in New York.

The MIGHTEEZ character line was announced earlier this year by Line Friends and ATEEZ. It features a custom character for each member of the group. These characters are named Hongyo, Ddeongyo, Tyuyo, Ddangyo, Saniyo, Mingyo, Kkamyo, and Jjongyo. Each character is equipped with a unique superpower, as outlined in the storyline of the merchandise. The powers, which were assigned by the ATEEZ members themselves, include time control, intuition and foresight, spatial control, all-purpose helper, digestion, sage wisdom, teleportation, and weather manipulation, according to a release.

The new collection offers a wide range of items inspired by and featuring the MIGHTEEZ characters. These include plush dolls and keychains, shirts, hats, tote bags, photocard holders, and more. Merchandise from the global pop-ups, which took place in Korean cities such as Seoul and Busan, will be available in the U.S. starting in the new year. Additionally, the company has stated that pop-ups will continue in China, Hong Kong, and Japan through November.

The pop-ups, scheduled from October 24 to November 12, will feature photo walls and placards with ATEEZ's handprints. There will also be a polaroid keepsake for fans, interactive activities, and an ATEEZ-themed photo booth. The first 100 people who purchase ATEEZ or MIGHTEEZ products during the first three days of the pop-up will receive an exclusive sticker. In Los Angeles, the pop-up will have a DJ on Saturday, October 25, and a photocard decoration and trading station. Meanwhile, the New York pop-up will allow fans to write messages to the group.

Line Friends emphasizes that these pop-ups are "highly significant" as they represent "the starting point for the long-term MIGHTEEZ IP business that Line Friends and ATEEZ will jointly develop," according to a release.

ATEEZ is an eight-member K-pop group under the Korean label KQ Entertainment. Since their debut in 2018, the group has made a significant impact on global music charts, including two No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 chart and two entries on the Hot 100. They have performed on major stages like Coachella and appeared in TV shows such as Apple TV+'s KPOPPED, which was released in August.

Known for their energetic performances and dynamic stage presence, the boy group consists of members Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho. They have successfully established themselves in the industry. Their latest EP and its repackage, Golden Hour: Part 3, marked their first entries on the Hot 100 with the tracks "Lemon Drop" and the English-language song "In Your Fantasy."
