However, the lack of support from her friends and even her father made her question her dreams. "For the longest time, I told myself, 'You are so silly for even wanting to do anything about this.' I stopped dreaming for a while," she admitted. Despite these doubts, Aneet remained determined to carve out a space for herself in the industry.
As a teenager, she began exploring opportunities online, but quickly realized many of the websites were fraudulent. "Almost every production house in the Hindi film industry has my audition tape, a terrible biodata, and Snapchat filter pictures," she laughed, recalling her early attempts. During the pandemic, she sent numerous cold emails in search of credible work before learning that casting agencies typically handle such opportunities.
Breaking into the Industry
Aneet eventually made her debut in Revathi's film 'Salaam Venky', alongside Kajol and Vishal Jethwa. This was followed by her acclaimed performance in the Prime Video series 'Big Girls Don't Cry'. However, it was her role in 'Saiyaara' that truly catapulted her into the spotlight. The romantic drama became one of the biggest hits of 2025, grossing Rs 569.75 crore worldwide.
