How Taylor Swift Became Eligible for the Songwriters Hall of Fame
To be eligible for the Songwriters Hall of Fame, an artist must have released their first commercial song at least 20 years prior. Taylor Swift made her debut in 2006 with the song “Tim McGraw,” which means 2026 is the first year she becomes eligible for consideration.
