A challenge-based public welfare sharing event will take place in Seoul, where teams of four will walk 20 km through the city center while supporting global poverty alleviation.
Oxfam, an international humanitarian and development organization, will host the *2026 Oxfam Trailwalker Seoul* on October 17. The Oxfam Trailwalker is a global public welfare event where participants complete a set course, raise donations, and support efforts to address global poverty and inequality.
This year’s event features a single 20 km course, designed to enhance accessibility compared to previous long-distance routes. Starting from Cheonggyecheon, the course connects historical and cultural landmarks such as Hanyangdoseonggil, Hyehwa-dong, Buam-dong, Bukaksan, and Inwangsan, allowing participants to experience Seoul’s urban landscapes and mountain trails. All participants will receive commemorative gifts, including a Carhartt WIP bag and a KEEN T-shirt.
The event’s core lies in team-based “donation fundraising.” Funds raised will be fully allocated to Oxfam’s emergency relief, water and sanitation, livelihood, and self-reliance programs, including the WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) project, which establishes clean water and sanitation facilities in Nepalese schools. The WASH program reduces infectious disease risks and supports healthy living for vulnerable communities by improving access to safe drinking water and sanitation infrastructure.

A source from Oxfam stated, “This autumn event in Seoul’s city center will offer participants a unique challenge experience with their teammates. Their journey will become a meaningful opportunity to create tangible support for global vulnerable populations.”
